Ergodyne Helps Workers Keep Eye Protection On with New Photochromic Safety Glasses
St. Paul, MN, Aug. 27, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Every day, an estimated 2,000 U.S. workers suffer job-related eye injuries requiring medical treatment. While many of those injuries are preventable with proper eye protection, PPE can only do its job when workers keep it on.

Available on the best-selling AEGIR and SIXTEN models, the new photochromic lenses transition from clear toward dark in as little as 10 seconds, reaching their full tint in approximately one minute. When workers return indoors, the lenses begin clearing immediately and transition back toward clear in roughly three minutes, allowing protection to remain in place without disrupting the task at hand.
