Boresight secures deal to supply US Army National Training Centre with aerial-target drones

Boresight has secured its largest order from a foreign defense group worth just over half a million Australian dollars.

HUNTSVILLE, AL, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- American soldiers will train to shoot down drones using targets and equipment supplied by Boresight in a record deal landed by the company.
Boresight’s American operations have received a Purchase Order for just over US$380,000 (approximately AU$532,000). The order comes from their American in-country reseller, Mountain Horse Solutions LLC, who is an established partner of the Company, and provides the contracting mechanisms to allow sales through to military-end-customers such as the National Training Centre.

It is Boresight’s largest order to-date from any foreign defense group and represents a more than threefold increase from any previous orders from Mountain Horse. The increase in demand and volume is a sign of the growing scale of target usage in counter drone warfare training and growing confidence in Boresight’s offering.

The Company’s recent decision to increase their capacity in Huntsville Alabama is paying off, with this new order to be fulfilled from the American operations. Being able to offer and supply “American-Made” products is an influencing factor in American military procurement decisions.
