WALTHAM, MA, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- AlphaRoute, the leading transportation optimization platform, today announced new software partnerships with five Southeast school districts: Atlanta Public Schools, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Selma City Schools, Jasper City Schools, and Fairfield City Schools. The wins mark a significant step in AlphaRoute's regional expansion across Georgia, North Carolina, and Alabama.

"Our momentum in the Southeast reflects what districts of every size are looking for: a transportation partner they can trust. Whether it's a major metro like Charlotte or Atlanta, or a smaller community system, each share the same goal: getting students to school safely and on time. We're grateful to be welcomed into these communities as a trusted partner, and we're committed to earning that trust every day on every route," said Alex Kapcar, Head of Sales.

The new partnerships span districts of vastly different scale, from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, one of the largest districts in the country with roughly 700 buses serving more than 100,000 students, to smaller city districts like Selma and Jasper, demonstrating AlphaRoute's ability to support transportation operations of any size. Districts are adopting a mix of AlphaRoute's core modules, including AlphaPlan for route management, AlphaPortal for parent communication and bus tracking, AlphaView for dispatch and vehicle visibility, and AlphaDrive as their driver app. Several districts are also installing GPS units and in-vehicle tablets as part of their rollout.

"We have led several route optimization projects in Florida, and we have had a long-standing relationship with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. But outside of those examples we were not enough of a factor in the area. We made a concerted effort to focus more attention to the Southeast states, and it has been thrilling to see the reaction. Districts across the region are responding well to our solution-driven approach, the ease of use of our software, and the refreshing authenticity of our customer support. The Southeast is now the most important area on the map for us, and I look forward to seeing continued growth in these states for years to come," said John Hanlon, CEO of AlphaRoute.

AlphaRoute is in talks with other Southeast school districts about a range of solutions within its broader software offerings and expects to add more clients across the region before the end of the year. This new wave of growth is heavily software-driven and opens new markets for the MIT-founded company. Prior to this expansion, AlphaRoute was best known in the region for its bus route optimization work, particularly in Florida, where clients have included Polk County and Collier County among others. A project with Manatee County, south of the Tampa area, helped the district cut its fleet from 108 buses to 94. AlphaRoute also serves parent-app customers in Louisiana, and its prior relationship with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools was significantly expanded this year through a new contract spanning additional software applications.

As AlphaRoute continues to grow its presence across the Southeast, the company remains focused on one goal: helping districts of every size get students to school safely, efficiently, and on time.
